Ahistorical Adjustments

While awaiting the Bad History Carnival with bated breath, I took the liberty of rearranging my blogrolls. A few things got added, a few things got removed, a bunch of stuff got moved up or down, and I added the Carnival section for those regular roundups I get the most out of.

Also, I note that my visitor count has just exceeded eight thousand, thanks in no small part to high-traffic links from Avedon Carol, the History Carnival, Orac, and an increase in regular visitors via the blogrolls of Pooflingers, Hiram Hover, Kittybear, and a few other generous souls.

Update: It's Here. It's lots of good (bad) stuff. And hand-delivered, too (see comments)! At risk of exposing my own side to hostile fire, I'll note that conservatives took a real beating this time, though The Neural Gourmet tried to even things out at the end...

Sorry for the delay! I was feeling under the weather yesterday. CoBH #4 is up now at Neural Gourmet.

Well, after hosting the Liberal Carnival this week, too, I could understand needing a breather. Glad you're feeling better; the Carnival's pretty healthy, too.

I noticed you added me (through Technorati, I don't scan someone's blogroll everytime I visit their site ;) and was most flattered! Thanks.

Will have to check out Bad History Carnival, but probably after all this Christmas hoo-ha at this point. (I'm well into party mode now.)

[Incidentally, I never heard of those folks you list who linked to you and as a result you received more traffic. I guess that says more about me though. ;)]

Well, they're on my blogroll: Avedon Carol blogs at the Sideshow and is one of the best liberal news aggregators around; you'd probably like her a lot. Orac (Respectful Insolence) is a medblogger with a thing for quizzes and quackery; I found him because of his anti-revisionist work, but I've learned a lot from him in medicine, as well. Pooflingers Anonymous is an anti-quackery site, unsparing. Hiram Hover's an historian, one of many on my blogroll and the Kittybear's a friend. It's not that these are the only people who link to me (Anne Zook, for example, is a regular, as are Cliopatria Blogroll references, Grant Jones, etc.) but these are the ones whose traffic seems to have picked up and spilled over into my hit counts.
