One thing you can say for the plains states - you do get fabulous sunsets. I remember Kansas--summer days of sitting on the back porch until 10:00 pm or later, watching a sunset that lingered for hours.
True enough about plains states, but this isn't a Great Plains sunset, I'm afraid. There's mountains involved. Small ones, but mountains nonetheless.
My camera devices never capture colors that vividly. What kind of camera is that? I have techno-envy.
My old Nikon D70. Only a 6Mp sensor, but the light sensitivity still beats my newest pocket camera, and the speed and lens clarity are great.
