Historical Entertainments

The latest History Carnival is up; don't be alarmed by the scandalous opening section, but keep reading.

There's also, for those of us whose interests run in that direction, the Asian History Carnival.

And, for the educationally minded, The Teaching Carnival.

It's a function of Blogger, really. It's apparently VERY easy to track newly updated blogs on blogger, and every new post gets at least one spam post right off the mark. And I don't like the anti-bot pattern recognition box, because it also shuts out the visually impaired. So I'm stuck with it.

The good news is that the spammers rarely strike more than about an hour after the post goes up, so if I check back pretty soon after posting, I catch most of it.

You're pretty quick yourself: Were you following the trackbacks from the carnival or following up on my nattering yesterday?
